Alternatively, in some versions, the fairy uses magic to turn a pumpkin into a luxurious silver coach, six mice into strong men to pull the coach, and a rat into a coachman. She also transforms Cinderella's ugly dress into a stunning golden one and her shoes into glass or gold ones.

Cinderella arrives at the ball in her magnificent attire and captures everyone's attention, especially the prince's. The prince asks her to dance with him, and they dance and talk all night long, falling in love. However, Cinderella must leave before midnight when the magic fades. The prince, determined to find his mysterious dance partner, visits every household in the kingdom with the lost shoe, seeking the girl whose foot fits it perfectly.
